This Friday (April 8th) we will have a test on the following topics related to circles:
- radius of a circle
- diameter
- circumference
- area
You need to be able to refer from one to the other. For example, I may give you the radius and ask you to calculate circumference and area, but I could also give you the area and ask you to find circumference. So you need to be comfortable working backwards from the area to find your radius, and then using it to calculate the circumference.
Please see the section on "The Circle" to check out videos, formulas and practice questions.
For extra help (but please bring your practice sheets and specific questions):
- First 20 minutes of lunch tomorrow in room 138
- In the cafeteria at lunch on Wednesday because I am on caf duty and will be there the whole time
- Thursday - first 20 minutes of lunch in room 138
- Thursday after school for 30 minutes in room 138
